When the golden dust clouds of the Persian desert part, they reveal a miracle: the Gravity Gardens, a lush archipelago of floating islands held aloft by ancient machinery. But the heartbeat of this realm-the Core Engine-is being choked by a dark, pulsating corruption.
Summoned by the goddess Anahita, the ＂Little Engineer＂ Edward and the stone-speaker Zylah must push their steam-powered locomotive, the Tom Thumb, beyond the limits of physics. From the vertical shafts of the Shazdeh Garden to the airless heights of the Apex Spire, Edward must use every tool in his kit-from the surface-locking Gravity-Anchor to the supercharged Sonic Brush-to prevent a terminal descent.
But as a swarm of Clockwork Avians descends from the Obsidian Nebula, Edward realizes this isn’t just a mechanical failure-it’s an invasion. To save the gardens, he must bridge the gap between myth and machine, lashing the divine Lapis Heart to his engine to take the fight into the stars.
The tracks don’t end at the horizon. Sometimes, they lead straight up.
