Kael of the Mountains

Kael has never known another life but the mountains.

Among the hard laws of the Firthian clans, strength is currency and mercy is weakness. Kael has trained for this world since boyhood-believing that if he proved himself, his place would be secure.

And that Thyra would one day be his.
