In this time, when there’s so much upheaval in the world, so much pain and sorrow and devastations, we need some comforting and reassuring words. Something that will offer a glimmer of hope and help us to see better days ahead of us. To open a world entirely different from the present reality; a world of faith and hope brings us to the kind of life God offers to us, as opposed to the world. Positivity in place of negativity, hope in place of hopelessness, love in place of hate. With negative energy allaround, it’s imperative that people should be given some hope and strength. Something to look forward to and hold on to every day in these uncertain times. As you wake up every morning, before you even step out in pursuit of the day’s task, there’s a word to lodge in your heart to help you through the day. Each day comes with its peculiar burdens and challenges, but if we have something to reflect upon, that could make all the difference in the world. Something that would bring us encouragement, inspiration, and strength as we walk down the narrow path of the Christian faith. It can also help preachers with topical sermons, insights, illumination of God’s word, and life application for believers. The word of God is a lubricant to the soul and oil of life to the heart. It encourages your everyday walk with the Lord and fellowship with Him. This is how a child of God survives and thrives over the challenges of this present world by walking closely with the Lord. You need the word as your life’s guards.
