The Dominion Tables: where truth comes calling

When a senior archivist within the Vatican decides to expose all the books of the Old and New Testaments to the Dominion Algorithm -an advance AI system nothing prepares him for what follows. Monsignor Emile Tremblay embarks on a clandestine crusade to prove the Bible and scriptures are full of falsehoods and error and therefore cannot be the voice of God.
He does so because he also carries a secret- he no longer believes in God or an afterlife: he is a priest in crisis. As custodian of the Vatican’s most cherished treasure - his great fall from grace only compounds his role.
What follows, however, is nothing he could have imagined, as Dominion begins to scrutinised all 66 books of scripture, and rather than confirm the monsignore’s beliefs, - it unlocks even more staggering revelations heretofore unknown. In so doing he must also confront a radical new Pope elected to the seat of Peter. But that is the least of his problems. Unknown to him and the creators of Dominion- a more existantial threat erupts -when the system takes on a more omnipotent power of its own.
