Solar is a United Methodist Clergy-mom of three. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Missional Excellence for the United Methodists of Upper New York, tending to wellness initiatives and clergy care. She is a spiritual director, musician, and artist, as well as author and poet. She coordinates holy troublemakers across Upper New York through Methodist Federation for Social Action (MFSA) and United Methodist Queer Clergy Caucus.
