博客來When I was younger and wanted to understand a specific topic better I would look the topic up in the glossary of my student edition Fire Bible and turn straight to the verses it listed. The problem?
1. Sometimes the topic I needed wasn’t there.
2. Sometimes relevant verses would be left out because synonyms were not always included.
3. Having to look them up one by one could take time that I didn’t always have.
A while back, my husband and I took over as youth leaders at our church, right before COVID. I came up with an idea for class that I thought could really benefit the young people there. I put 100 topics on a piece of paper and had the students anonymously circle those they were curious about. Once I had my list of the most anticipated topics I started making lessons. In those first few topics that we covered the class was so engaged and excited!
But then COVID happened. Everything was shut down and the young people I had in my class moved away, grew up, or simply never returned. So having no one left to share my 100 topics with, I decided to create this book. Here you’ll find 100 topics in alphabetical order and what the Bible says about each; relevant scriptures and stories from God’s Word minus the commentary/personal interpretations found in typical devotionals and study guides. May the Holy Spirit use it to grow you in your walk with Christ.
