Cognitive Choices: How We Evolve Around Our Point of View

Cognitive ability is widely regarded as a distinct human trait and serves as a central theme in discussions on evolutionary continuity. With notifications, algorithms, and curated content exerting increasing influence over modern life, concerns regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI) replacing humans in the workplace have become commonplace. The question arises: will Human Intelligence (HI) continue to surpass AI? The author asserts that it will, citing the organic nature of human cognition. Unlike machines, humans possess the capacity to interpret environmental stimuli and generate original ideas through authentic development processes-capabilities not inherent to AI systems. Thus, the author maintains that there will be no AI if there is no HI. A comprehensive understanding of this perspective requires consideration of the ＂nature versus nurture＂ debate and its complexities.
