Bronah had lived a ’normal’ life. The kind of life where you subscribed to the get up and go to work, pay your bills, buy stuff, do things on the weekend if you weren’t too tired. Have relationships. Answer everyone’s questions that start with ＂when are you going to....＂ She was slowly fading away in this life. Then she sold everything that she had purchased to
fit into that norm. She lived in a friend’s basement, saved money, made plans. She packed up and moved to an island off the coast of Ireland. She spent months living on an island that had not been inhabited full time for decades. An island where once, life was lived within a community. A small community. People interacted with and depended on one another, whether they wanted to or not. Rich with story tellers, true characters of life, and beauty that was bordered by treacherous ocean
waves and storms. She couldn’t stay forever. So she left. But she still dreams about it.
