Virginia’s Baby: Love Is Real

The 1940s were a devastating time in America’s history, yet a strong population of America’s resilient people fought with, and in, a second world war, maintaining a good lifestyle. Virginia Stuart’s family changed little. She grew up in boarding schools and living on her father’s Georgia farm during school holidays and summers.
Now a seventeen-year-old high school graduate, she goes to Leife, Virginia, to visit her grandparents, intending to enter college in New York. But God has other plans for her.
Virginia meets George, and they fall in love. A conniving former beau, Adam Randal, bent on getting her family’s farm and fortune tracks her down and lies to her controlling, manipulative mother about the nature of Virginia and George’s relationship.
Furious, Rachel Stuart, rushes to Leife to break up the couple and spirit Virginia away. Hoping to thwart her mother’s plans, Virginia and George elope and conspire to keep the marriage a secret.
Rachel forces her daughter to go to Boston to visit family, and there, Virginia discovers she’s pregnant. Refusing to accept a man she sees socially beneath her daughter, Rachel annuls the marriage and ships Virginia off to Mississippi to have her baby and give it up for adoption.
Will this be the end of George and Virginia? Will Virginia ever get to hold her daughter? Will either of them find happiness? Will Adam succeed in grasping Virginia’s inheritance from her?
