As Alex returns to Croatia and Italy to unravel his family’s subsequent escape to Australia after the war, he realises that everything he thought he knew about his childhood was a lie. Can he find the truth about his shooting and the reasons behind its coverup before the whirlwind he has created consumes him and everyone he loves?
