Lexi’s journey continues on when she awakens from her deep sleep to find Tommy alive and well, waiting to give her news from Devin. He still loves her, but is forced to pretend, once again, that she doesn’t exist in order to keep her safe from his father. Lexi is tortured by his silence, and fearful that the distance between them will permanently drive them apart, but what she doesn’t know, is that someone else in her life has a very different idea of what permanent means. She is forced to come to terms with the fact that her healing powers are just not meant to save everyone.
