Feres Chaddad-Neto, MD, PhD

Graduated with a degree in Medicine (1996) and completed the Residency in Neurosurgery (1997-2000) at Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (PUCCAMP). Fellowship in Vascular and Tumor Microsurgery at Institute of Neurological Sciences (ICNE) with Dr. Evandro de Oliveira (2001). Master´s Degree in Neurology (2006) and PhD in Neurology (2010) at State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). Fellowship in Microsurgical Anatomy, Department of Neurosurgery, University of Florida, USA, with Prof. Albert Rhoton Junior (2013). Post-Doctorate in Neurology, at University of São Paulo (USP) (2017). Worked with Dr. Evandro de Oliveira for 15 years (2002-2016). Currently Head of Neurosurgery Department at Hospital Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo; Professor and Head of Neurovascular Surgery, Professor of Post-Graduation in Neurology & Neuroscience, and Coordinator of the Microneuroanatomy Laboratory at Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP).

Marcos Devanir Silva da Costa, MD, PhD

Graduated with a degree in Medicine at Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) (2010), completed his Residency Program in Neurosurgery at the same University (2016), and also completed Master in Science (2015), PhD (2019) and Post Doc (2023) at the Federal University of São Paulo. Fellowships in Vascular Neurosurgery at Barrow Neurological Institute, Phoenix-AZ, USA (2013) with Dr. Robert Spetzler and Pediatric Neurosurgery in Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus-OH, USA, (2016) with Dr. Jeffrey Leonard. Observership in Craniofacial Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital (Harvard Affiliated Hospital), Boston, Massachusetts, USA, (2022) with Dr. Mark Proctor.

Affiliated Professor of the Neurology and Neurosurgery Department at Escola Paulista de Medicina - UNIFESP. Advisor Professor of the Post Graduation Program in Neurology and Neurosciences at the Universidade Federal de São Paulo, Brazil. Pediatric Neurosurgeon at the Pediatric Oncology Institute (IOP/GRAACC) and the Maternity Hospitals of the Santa Joana Group, Pro-Matre, and Santa Maria, Brazil.

Co-Editor of the book Microneuroanatomy and Surgery, published by Springer (available in four languages: English, Portuguese, German and Spanish). Author and Co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed articles published in indexed journals.
