Nancy Wertz Weiford was raised in Southern California. She began writing short stores at the age of ten and completed her first full length novel in high school. An avid historian, she studied the political violence of the 1960’s. Conducting interviews with a wide variety of witnesses and people whose lives touched history, she concentrated on the assassinations of John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King and Robert F. Kennedy. She assisted many authors by sharing research for their best selling books. Her driving interest is accuracy in the historical record. She has published numerous articles in journals, served as Editor of the Master Researchers’ Directory, and spoken at historical conferences in the U.S and U.K.
