This series presents four different rural stories in four standalone picture books.

《小白魚造大浪》呈現南投縣埔里鎮一新社區，居民因為發現瀕危白魚而覺醒，以友善耕作守護河川生態，並開創產業轉型與教育體驗契機。
小小的白魚，原與溪流中常見的溪哥、苦花一般尋常無異，連棲地環境的惡化、族群數量減少都激不起一絲漣漪，所幸小小白魚的困境受到的社區居民的重視，因而從小漣漪發展成社區轉型的行動浪潮。
White Minnows Make Waves showcases Yixin Community in Puli Township, Nantou County, where residents experienced an awakening after the rediscovery of the whitefish, an endangered freshwater fish species that scientists call Moltrecht’s minnow or Taiwan white minnow. They have endeavored to protect the river ecosystem through eco-friendly farming, creating opportunities for industrial transformation and educational development.

The tiny whitefish was once as common as the pale chub or the shoveljaw carp, but went into decline due to habitat degradation, until barely a ripple remained. Fortunately, the plight of the little caught the attention of community residents, thus transforming a small ripple into a wave of community transformation.

《白石上岸．黑石下海》再現澎湖奎壁澳，以硓𥑮石疊菜宅、以玄武岩築石滬，白石黑石一黑一白在海洋與陸地構築出獨有的社會的、生態的生產地景；一黑一白象徵著銀髮的智慧與黑髮的創新，青銀疊代共創海洋島嶼永續願景。
菊島上特有的人與自然和諧共處的傳統生態智慧，這智慧的保存、傳承、實踐與創新，是難能可貴的有形、無形文化資產，更是最古老的永續發展精神的典範。
This series presents four different rural stories in four standalone picture books. Whitestone on Land, Blackstone in the Sea depicts the rural landscape of Kuibi'ao in Penghu, where houses are built from coral stone and weirs are constructed from basalt. The white and black stones are indispensable building blocks of a unique social and ecological production landscape on land and in the sea; they symbolize the wisdom of the elderly, the originality of youth, and the intergenerational creation of a sustainable vision for the island.
The traditional ecological wisdom of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature has found unique expression in Penghu, and can be considered an intangible cultural asset. Its preservation, inheritance, and reinvention has also put a fresh face on the many tangible cultural assets that Penghu boasts, making Penghu a model of the oldest spirit of sustainable development.

《穿越100分的橋》則帶領讀者來到新竹縣北埔鄉南埔社區，青年與長輩合力營造跨越行政界的農村生態系，以共好、共榮為核心，展現自主永續的能量與生命力。
南埔社區是北埔鄉的穀倉，與所有農村面臨的挑戰無異，但南埔卻展現了無比的遠見與活動，從重修百年水圳開始，喚起了耆老記憶，以及青年的活力，客家山村的傳統自然信仰也發揮關鍵的作用力。
Crossing the 100-Percent Bridge takes readers to Nanpu Community in Beipu Township, Hsinchu County, where young and old have joined hands to create a rural ecosystem that transcends administrative boundaries, displaying vitality and harnessing the energy of autonomy and sustainability.
The granary of Beipu Township, Nanpu Community faces the same challenges as all rural areas. However, Nanpu has demonstrated foresight and industry, starting with the reconstruction of a century-old irrigation canal that rekindled the memories of the elderly and the vitality of the younger generation. The traditional natural beliefs of the Hakka mountain village have also played a crucial role.

《黑翅鳶之歌》場景來到臺中市霧峰區，霧峰是益全香米的故鄉，更在五福社區走上一條友善耕作的實驗之路，農民與政府合作從五甲地開始做起，十年來友善耕作面積已擴展超過百公頃。
友善田區間黑翅鳶的來棲，不僅是受歡迎的嬌客，更在生態服務中發揮了關鍵角色，幫助農民抑制了田鼠危害，同時黑翅鳶更成為友善田區的親善大使與代言，行銷在地優質稻米品牌。
The first, Song of the Blackwing Kite, is set in Wufeng District, Taichung City, the hometown of Yiquan (Tainong no. 71) fragrant rice. Wufeng has embarked on an experiment in eco-friendly farming in Wufu Community, where farmers and the government joined forces, initially on five hectares of land. Over the past decade, the area under eco-friendly farming has expanded twentyfold.
The arrival of blackwing kites in these eco-friendly fields has been welcome not just for their sheer presence. The kites also provide an important ecosystem service, namely helping farmers control field rodent infestations. They have also become goodwill ambassadors for eco-friendly fields, starring in campaigns to promote the local high-quality rice brand.
