Due to the need for companies to remain competitive in the face of rapidly evolving technologies and the economic crisis, organizations are constantly looking for alternatives to help them maximize their results. As a way of meeting these demands, we proposed the implementation of work station management (WPM) in a sanitary paper industry. The aim is to obtain historical data for decision-making and to carry out actions capable of increasing the company’s productivity, bearing in mind the tool’s main focus, the continuous improvement of processes and equipment. Through the application of the methodology elucidated in the course of the work and the continuous application of the PDCA method (Plan, Do, Check and Act), GPT was implemented, based on the STP (Toyota Production System), whose premise is the management and optimization of organizations in order to serve customers in the best possible way and in the shortest possible time. The results show that there is great potential for improving the various production resources, with progress being made in all the workstations where improvement actions were proposed.
