It was December 2011, during a meditation that I heard "Sell everything, get rid of all your belongings, you are leaving Australia in July 2012, be ready". Those words scared me, how could I trust them? I had been psychic all my life, I trusted my connection or did I?
In April 2012, that trust was proven. Out of 1000’s of psychics in Australia I was chosen by STB Television to represent my country at the casting of the TV Show "Bitva Ekstrasensiv - Battle Of The Psychics" being filmed in Ukraine in July 2012 with a viewing audience of 34 million plus international syndication.
Fast forward to July 2012, I had sold or given away everything, was boarding 1 of 3 planes to take me to a country I knew nothing about, I didn’t speak the language, yet I knew I would be gone for a long time.
The casting process was simple, spend a week in Ukraine, successfully complete 3 tasks and be invited to appear on the show which meant living in Ukraine for the next 6 months. Or return back to Australia.
Completing my tasks, I received a phone call the day before I was due to leave Ukraine. I was successful, I was one of the Top 12 International Psychics to appear on the show. I was competing against some of the best in the world from the USA, UK, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Russia, Canada and more.
It was an apocalyptic battle that involved risking our lives, proving our psychic and mediumship abilities in extreme situations with stories that would break our hearts and minds at the depth of many of the tragedies we would discover. I would be injured, discover love and my life would never be the same.
This book is a mini diary of my experiences on Reality TV, with memories of the episodes, the storylines and how I was the first person in the history of "Bitva Ekstrasensiv" to appear on 2 TV shows at the same time. Also included is my memories of co-hosting "Psychic Investigations" TV Show over 2 years, 16 episodes solving distressing stories of murder, rapes, kidnapping, suicides and more.
In every episode there was twists and turns and hidden situations that may not be included in this book, neither were my personal day-to-day experiences of being a foreigner in Ukraine. Those stories are for my public speaking events, radio and TV appearances. To find out more about me Jayc Ryder, go to my website.
