Mrs. Morgan Rescues... a Rabbit! is the second story in a series created for independent readers ages eight and up. Younger readers may enjoy this children's book if it is read to them.

Mrs. Morgan lives in Savannah, Georgia. She is a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and rescues and fosters both wild and domestic animals. This story is about a rabbit that was owned by a woman but is injured by a cat. Mrs. Morgan and her next door neighbor Bree care for the rabbit until it is ready to go to a new home.

Children will learn what happens when an injured animal is cared for by a human and these stories are meant to encourage compassion and caring towards all animals.
