Kirk ＂Jamaipanese＂ Brown is a young Jamaican living in Kingston who has a great interest in Japan and its people. After launching a plan called Operation Visit Japan in January 2010 which was a resounding success, Kirk was able to visit the land of the rising sun for the first time in September 2011. ＂Jamaipanese＂ is a candid portmanteau of the words JAMAIcan and JaPANESE, hence he calls himself and his blog Jamai + Panese or Jamaipanese. Kirk tries to have his own personality shine through as he blogs about topics related to his life in Jamaica, his love for Japan as well as his general interests such as photography, video games and technology.
