Years ago, lead investigator Sean Fenton made a mistake. One that cost him his position and almost his career. Law enforcement had been what he had lived his whole life for and after being demoted back down to a regular detective he was in a slump. Only when he and his new partner, Jane Masters, are suddenly faced with a serial killer case with an unusual M.O. does Sean realize this could be his chance to get his career back on track. However, the religious nature of the killings begins to drag up some old memories and some realities he never fully came to grips with. Sean is now forced to acknowledge his own personal struggle with faith as well as some new developing feelings he isn’t quite sure he’s ready to trust.
