Dr. Stephen Royal Jackson has been a stress specialist since 1980 when he completed his dissertation on stress and received his doctorate in clinical and child psychology from the University of Virginia. Late in 1995, Dr. Jackson had a life-changing spiritual experience which led him to leave the clinical practice of psychology to teach and write, and by the summer of 1998 he founded SET (Stress Effective Training) for Life Seminars, Inc. Through his writing and seminars, Dr. Jackson is dedicated to helping people all over the world eliminate the needless suffering and senseless evil caued by ineffective ways of handling stress and conflict. To this end, Dr. Jackson lectures and conducts seminars, and he has often appeared on national television and radio.
