Marie Benjamin has arranged to meet her son and daughter whom she hasn’t seen since they were children. Arriving at the hotel in London very early we’re privy to her candid thoughts as she recalls the traumas which played a big part in her life.
She’s damning of some of the things she’s done and not done and yet she’s the sense of humour to laugh at herself and not take herself too seriously.
So did she turn things around or was her whole life a series of tragedies?
