Would he be executed by prison guards prior to liberation? Would Clifford and the family be captured and imprisoned or executed when the Japanese Army scoured the countryside for the ＂white man＂ who assisted Doolittle and the American Raiders? Would the family be killed by the bombing and strafing endured before and during their flight from China? We praise God for the known. Are the unknowns any less worthy?
