What do you do when God forgives but the ones you love do not? Or when you’re trying to escape your past to no avail? Rahab’s Tears follows the journey of Angie, a single mother trying to piece her life back together after betrayal and disappointment. Tired of repeating the same cycle, Angie has finally made the choice to get her life back on track, but this will not come without a fight. What do you do when you’re tired of being sick and tired? Do you stick it out or let the vicissitudes of life defeat you instead? I cannot think of anyone in life who has not had some sort of setback- that one embarrassing moment that we plan to take to the grave. Whether we’re willing to admit it or not, we all have something we are not proud of. Rahab’s Tears is the perfect example of scandalous grace. No matter what you’ve done, there’s no hole too deep that you can’t climb your way out of. When God formed you (Jeremiah 1:5), He already knew who and what you would become. There’s nothing about you that has taken Him by surprise! Own your mistakes, but don’t allow them to control your life. You are more than your past. Your future is waiting... and it has an expected end (Jeremiah 29:11).
