The Resurrection Changes Everything: Essays in Honor of the Rev. Dr. Herbert C. Mueller

Rev. Dr. Herbert C. Mueller Jr. (d. 2020) served as First Vice-President of The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod from 2010 to 2019. Upon his retirement, he began researching a book on the bodily resurrection of Jesus. This book takes up the task begun by Mueller, written in loving memory of his life, service, and witness. The Resurrection Changes Everything contains essays that explore and confess the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the body that He promises for all who believe in Him. Including selected excerpts from Mueller’s own writing, this volume strives to bring the comforting promise, hope, and joy of Jesus’ resurrection to every reader. Written primarily for pastors and church workers, the essays are written in an accessible style for any reader and contain Scripture references in the text, as well as notes for further reading, study, and reflection.
