This book aims to contribute to the socialisation of relevant knowledge in the field of Brazilian educational management, especially school management in Amazonas. The discussions and reflections presented here by the author on Total Quality Management in a Public School: Points and Counterpoints, stem from the importance of public school management as an instrument of mediation in the teaching and learning processes, as well as involving social, political and cultural elements, materialised in the reality of the school that influence and contribute to the way it is organised. In this sense, this study sought to analyse the pedagogical processes implemented at the Profa Roxana Pereira Bonessi Full-Time State School (E.T.I.), in the city of Manaus/Amazonas/Brazil, specifically those related to the educational management model, anchored in Total Quality Management (TQM), which applied in a public school in the second decade of the 21st century as a pioneering experience, provoked reflections and debates in the intellectual milieu and rekindled the discussion about neoliberal policies in Brazilian education, especially with its current advance.
