The book uses 9 ‘laws’ that were developed by the author during his 50+ years of international and multi-disciplinary project management and which formed the basis of his ‘Martyr’s Laws training lectures. It is NOT exclusively a book about industrial project management processes and protocols which are covered in other books and in many training syllabi; instead, the underlying Laws it proposes apply to all domestic and private projects ---the same laws that, if broken or ignored lead to project failureUsing these nine short laws has proven to be an effective learning tool, and a god reminder even to experienced project managers, whether their project is building a factory extension or planning a daughter’s wedding. The book is aimed at a wider audience than the professional project manager and should target university students and staff in public authorities. Even projects proposed by chairpersons of village hall committees have to obey the same laws if their projects are not to turn into financial or social failures.
