Women of Color and Hair Bias in the Work Environment

＂This book explores the experiences of professional women of color who have had experiences of uncertainty, self-consciousness, or differing treatment, and/or discrimination because of their natural hairstyle choices. The intent is to shine a light on the challenges professional women of color face, and how these experiences impact their hiring and/or work environment. This book will serve as an invaluable resource to organizations, practitioners, women, and students who are concerned about cultural competency, identity, equality, work biases, professionalism, and the position of women and the experiences they contended with.
