Beginning with an exploration of shadows cast by parental figures, childhood and adolescence, Formidable Shadows: A Foster Youth Journey culminates with AC the Poet coming into their voice through the healing process and discovery of self. This debut collection of poetry is a testament to surviving through systemic barriers of poverty, foster care, neglect and generational trauma.
