Deepak Kumar is Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, USA, where he is developing conductive oxides as contact materials for micro- and nanoelectromechanical switches. He received his doctorate from the Materials Science and Engineering Department of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
