B. Martin Pedersen, Graphis CEO, publisher, designer, and editorial director, has earned industry praise for his elegant and timeless design. At Graphis, his prestigious international juried award competitions for Design, Advertising, Photography, Illustration, and New Talent recognize outstanding global talents. As a publisher, he produces the finest quality design industry books on the planet. Pedersen is the recipient of some of the industry’s highest honorary titles alongside numerous awards from the AIGA, Art Directors Club, and Type Directors Club. Notable honors include the Society of Publication Designers inaugural Herb Lubalin Award for Excellence in Editorial Design, the Columbia University National Magazine Award for the Best Designed Magazine of the Year, and the AIGA Gold Medal for Lifetime Achievement in Design. He is an inductee into the Art Directors Club Hall of Fame and an Alliance Graphique International (AGI) member.
