"Cock-a-Doodle-Do by AleSko, stories in verse, seasonal, romantic poems, humoresques, burlesques, sketches weave into an optimistic author's outlook and rooted in the real life, however embellished and improved by pure fantasy. Simple, colorful, some times folklorish and eccentric language, non-obscure logical expression of thoughts, keen observation of the nature, entertaining and humorous approach to the serious problems makes his writings affable for young, old and in-between. Even intellectuals from Park Avenue, where the author diversified his experience as a doorman, are capable to grasp and to enjoy his poetry. Two conceptual poems: Affection for Non-Perfection and Ode to the Dream Editor, though the second one is written in the burlesque form, open the book. The rest of the poems alternate serious with funny.
