Such creative activity should fight boredom rather than feed it. It would even be an antidote. However, national and international studies reveal that boredom is a reality that many workers experience in silence. It’s a source of great suffering and a form of burnout, as the worker empties himself from within.To understand this reality, this book offers a panoramic view of the concept, with definitions, history and psychological theories of boredom. It also proposes a tool for assessing boredom, which can help managers in Cameroon to make a better diagnosis.
