Daniel Keeran was born in Marion, Ohio. With a graduate degree in European history, he has developed a particular knowledge of baptismal fonts through extensive research, interviews with archaeologists, and visiting hundreds of baptismal sites in Europe and the Mediterranean region. The author is a graduate of David Lipscomb University (BA, Biblical Literature and European History), the University of Kentucky (MA, European History), and Kent School of Social Work, University of Louisville (MSW, Clinical Social Work).
