Major Andrewsen began flying when he was 15 and always wanted to be an Air Force pilot. He married his sweetheart, Tiffany, after knowing each other for 3 months. He proposed on their third date. He attended OTS in 2001 and was selected for pilot training. Many adventures and deployments later he arrived at this point in his life. The spiritual side of his life has turned into the most important aspect of life outside of his relationship with his wife.
