Take a journey through 36 Years in Stone and San Diego with artist Doron Rosenthal. This monograph is a culmination of a life in stone, metal, and glass. It is as much about the process as it is about the work, and the need to create order out of chaos. When Doron was given three weeks to live, he didn’t buy it. Besides he wasn’t ready and there was much left to do.

An artist’s job is to inspire in a way that is new, unique, and interesting. It fills a void that no one knew existed-that’s art.

Doron’s work began with inspiration that soon evolved into his participation in exhibits, public works, and teaching. He wasn’t afraid to put himself out there as an artist, and he experienced success as much as rejection-that process shaped him just as much as his desire to create.
