Organic compounds are, at the most basic level, compounds that contain carbon and hydrogen. These compounds are called organic because they were once believed to have been derived from living things, but that is not necessarily the case. The organic compound is a large class of chemical compounds in which one or more carbon atoms are covalently linked to atoms of other elements, most commonly hydrogen, oxygen, or nitrogen. Dr. Tirth is presently working as an assistant professor in the department of Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences, Parul University. He did his M.Sc. & Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Maharaja Sayajirao University, Vadodara. His research interest is in Drug Discovery, Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Natural Products isolation. To add to her credits, he has published 15 articles in various international journals. He is having 4 U.S. & 1 Indian patents so far.
