And you’d think that we all must be missing something, doing it all wrong. Because love seems like that myth we all believe in to have something to live for, to make us feel like we do more than survive. We say it never lasts, that our hearts are too complex and the world is too cruel. Yet we search for it, dream of it, or wait for it to come and save us. We believe in love unconditionally, and just pray it all doesn’t end in fire.
