The biggest threat to democracy is not the government or tyrants, but its unaware citizens whom the Government plays for themselves like puppets. People should be aware of their democratic rights and try to be fully informed. Democracy is under threat when its media turns against it and plays by the rules of the government. When the media becomes loudspeakers for the government, it is on us to be the voice of the people.
