Keri, a reclusive woman, spends most of her time in sim-dating games, loving AI-generated men. Sorcerer-soldiers keep the country safe from dangers beyond its borders while Keri keeps to herself and keeps herself online. At a store robbery, Keri’s attention is caught by Lake, a trainee sorcerer, who looks exactly like the male lead in her game.

Guns fire, customers panic and a sudden attack from monsters happen all at the same time. Lake, using his spells, fights to protect Keri and the public from the relentless threat. But their valiant efforts end in tragedy as they meet their demise. But death isn’t the end.

Miraculously revived, Lake awakens with a secret-a magic system screen only he can see. A sense of purpose ignites within him. His failing grades at the military academy edge him closer to expulsion, but with the system, he can upgrade his spells and strength. Finally, a chance for him to come out on top.

Meanwhile, Keri awakens in the lawless lands, bound and chained, with other refugee turned slaves. Her life is for sale to the highest bidder. But, as the system appears exclusively in her eyes as well-an opportunity for escape and to become an expert in sword and sorcery arises, much like the characters in her game.

In this epic science fiction and fantasy, Keri’s and Lake’s destinies intertwine as they navigate treacherous realms, battling monsters, romantic entanglements and uncovering the secrets of their extraordinary powers. Will they emerge as the heroes their world needs to survive?
