Tony Blomert is a true American Aikidoka. He was first introduced to Aikido as a college freshman over four decades ago, and still lives "the aiki way" by practicing the principles in his everyday life. Now living in Livingston, Montana on the banks of the famed Yellowstone River, Tony splits his time between authoring articles on Aikido training, construction-related topics, and enjoying the wondrous outdoors of the Big Sky Country. He is an avid fly fisher and upland bird hunter. Having a lifetime passion for the American Brittany gun dog, Tony’s raised his own lineage of field champions, and has worked tirelessly for more than 25 years with American Brittany Rescue finding new "forever homes" for displaced dogs.
