I never imagined that I would become an author and write my book, Advice To My Younger Self. The premise of the book is the notion that I transport back in time and give my younger self guidance in navigating my career. We all have our own cringe worthy moments, I’ve had my share: -), if we could only go back and have a second chance to do it differently wouldn’t that be nice? Until we develop a time machine the only alternative is trying to get it right the first time or getting there sooner. This book is designed to help people navigate through likely scenarios they will face at some point during their career. Although some situations will be unavoidable that doesn’t mean you can’t be prepared for them. I offer up 25 areas ranging from finding your advocates to not letting anyone define who you are. Each section provides a conversational approach and contains assessments and recommendations to navigate challenging situations.
