Meet the Author: Remy Agee Called Grandma, Gam and Grammy Hammy (aka Remy Agee), I love reading and creating books. I’ve enjoyed sharing tips for parents and grandparents, when writing professionally on early childhood topics, including early learning experiences. These days, I continue to learn from the best sources - my daughter (a mother herself) and my grandchildren! Blair Selby and I are mother and daughter co-authors of this book. Children learn so much by playing word games and using their imagination, the ’engine of ideas’., As Albert Einstein said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand, stimulating progress." Meet the Author: Blair Selby Mom, wife, Preschool Director, Healing Touch for Animals Practioner, PTA officer...I’m busy like so many parents today. But that never stops me from enjoying the moment and taking time to have some fun with my son. Before he was born, I taught preschool, then worked part-time to stay at home when he was young. Now that he’s in school, I’ve returned to working with children which I really love. And I’ve had fun as co-author, helping develop games for the Kids BrainGames book. With my background as an early childhood professional, my focus as co-author has been to help parents understand how these games help children develop, while ensuring the games are fun for all ages. Road-testing the games has been an enjoyable part of my contribution to this book, as both my son and I (along with his grandmother and co-author) fine-tuned all of these games by playing them on-the-go and at home. Sometimes with hilarious results!
