In the north-west Pacific, on the remote island of Cortoza, a generation of Nokali, the modern tribe, await their promised fortune - it's a promise that their evil president has no intention of fulfilling. For decades, he has scoured the land, fearful of an enemy he couldn’t even see, in search of a sacred treasure that was nothing but a legend. Now, on the verge of his greatest discovery, not even the Shahili, the lost tribe, wish to thwart his plans. Instead, the most unlikely of obstacles stands between him and his fortune – a 12-year-old student from the Alvarez Academy of the Uninitiated – a boy named, Xavier Wintersbee.

Impatient to join his father on his latest archaeological mission, Xavier, unwittingly, begins an unsanctioned adventure that leads him deep into the forest of the fifth quarter. Before long, Xavier is caught in the middle of an ancient tribe’s bitter family feud, and innocently sparks a series of events leading to the collision of the two divided tribes of his island home – a battle foreseen centuries ago is about to begin!

But before the battle, Xavier and his friends, Uma and Eli, must survive a life or death mission to save the legendary riches of their homeland, and start an even greater quest… to find the one, true ruler destined to lead the Nokali from oppression, and reunite the two tribes of their island home.
