“The Flames” is about being engulfed by love/desire & trying to successfully navigate relationships.  This is the book that questions what love is, how to love others well & the fear & admittance of failure.

“The Seas” is about the despair of sinking into your own past, mistakes, & fears & the struggle of trying to swim out of that abyss. Often you are just pulled deeper, but there are also moments of strength & hope.

“The Seas” is a bit like being lost at sea & trying to find your way back to the shore through storms while the tide keeps pushing you back out, trying to drown you.  Sometimes, you move forward 2 steps & pushed back 4, but there are always those moments when the sun shines & the ocean relents.
