Who knows what the rain will bring?

After days of blinding rain, a white tree emerges with everybody’s names on it. One above and the other below, tying two together. Nova is determined to be the first to reach the top. She discovers that the rain brought more than just tying people to one another; things that were once gone have now returned. And her family wants it all for themselves.

1925-

Atop the tree, in the city of Rueb, the children are pawns in the twisted games of the Duchess and Charles Van Kronos. When the children finally escape, they’re separated, renamed, and try to lead a normal life.
