Considerable attention has been devoted to cognitive styles individual differences in perceiving and processing information since the beginning of the previous century, leading to a wide diversity of cognitive style theories. Cognitive styles recently also gained prominence within the domains of organisational behaviour and management as they are a relevant addition to the personality and ability constructs. This book reports on the development and validation of the Cognitive Style Indicator (CoSI), an interesting new 18-item style instrument for use with professional and managerial groups.
