As a seasoned Pararescue Jumper, Master Sergeant Maximilian Barrett is familiar with unstable landings and handling things when situations go sideways. But when a mission changes his whole world both physically and spiritually, everything gets complicated.

The complications increase when a dangerous assignment is thrown at him in the midst of his dilemma, and he can’t say ＂no＂, because God is saying ＂yes＂.

Barrett understands that God’s will often leads people in unexpected ways, but he never would have thought it would lead away from his vow of ＂to have and to hold＂.
