Driven by the motto of ’I am Ok’, Fairyteller’s book is a story of pain resulting from childhood neglect from parents, rape and betrayals by brother and lovers. However, it is the undying spirit of the very relatable commoner, the protagonist, who rises against all odds to make a life for herself. Adrift like a tumbleweed in a foreign land, she faces life without roots - no family, no friends, no home. Not used to somebody solving her problems, she finally finds Dan who does. Dan is her shelter and her safety. In the Netherlands, she rebuilds herself, crafting a future with her hands. A story of resilience, rediscovery, and finding a home within the heart. But how the future pans out is something that the readers will have to discover.
