The Chinese people constitute more than a quarter of the world's population, yet until now there has been no single volume that summarizes and integrates the wealth of data available, in English and Chinese, on the psychological functioning of Chinese people. 作者簡介：

Michael Harris Bond is Professor of Psychology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has lived and worked in Hong Kong for more than thirty years. His research interests include the social psychology of language use, impression management, cross-cultural social psychology, cross-cultural interaction, and social axioms.
