In the late 1960's, Mike and Bobby, two young brothers, move across country, from east to west with their single parent mother. When she re-marries, for a brief moment in time, all is well. But soon, their new step-father, who they call The King, brings darkness into their otherwise bright young lives. When it becomes increasingly obvious that Bobby's life is in danger, older brother Mike concocts a plan called The Big Idea. Their only weapon against the abusive hopelessness they face is their boundless imaginations. With the faith and hope that only children can wield, they highly modify their Radio Flyer wagon, and pray that their imaginations will manifest physically in their all-too-real-world, and enable the wagon to actually fly, and carry Bobby away to far off lands where he will forever be safe from the terrors of The King.

David Mickey Evans is an Author, and motion picture Screenwriter/Director/Producer. He attended Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, and graduated with degrees in Film and Screenwriting. Directly after college he became Hollywood’s highest paid screenwriter, breaking records with the sale of his first two scripts, Radio Flyer and The Sandlot. The Sandlot has been hailed as ＂The Greatest Baseball Movie Ever Made!＂, and ＂The Best Summer of All Time!＂ The Sandlot 2, which Evans also wrote, directed and narrated, is the most successful direct-to-dvd live-action family film of all time.
